BatteryBud 1.3.0
- Power flow, on MacBooks. Your MacBook’s page has a new map of where its power goes: from the battery or the adapter to your apps, to devices charging from its ports, and to the system itself. See it live, since you unplugged, or over the last day, week, month or year.
- Measured or estimated. Measured shows the processor energy macOS records for each app. Estimated splits the Mac’s whole draw between apps the way Activity Monitor’s Energy tab ranks them.
- In the menu bar. The popover shows the three biggest drains under your Mac. Click them for the full map. Turn this off in Settings → General → Menu bar.
- Private. To draw the map, BatteryBud starts recording how much energy each app uses. That history stays on your Mac. Settings → General has a switch that stops recording and deletes it.
